Teaching History

I have nearly a decade of 6-16 mathematics teaching experience. I enjoy teaching all mathematics, but I am particularly interested in best practices for teaching introductory mathematics and statistics at the undergraduate level.

I have earned a M.A. in Mathematics from Saint Louis University and a M.S. in Education from the Johns Hopkins University . I am a certified 7-12 mathematics teacher in the District of Columbia (license still active) and formerly a certified 5-12 mathematics teacher in the State of Missouri (license expired, but I would be qualified to get again).

Unless otherwise noted, one section of each class was taught in the denoted time period. A typical section has 20-35 students. Excerpts of my student evaluations are here and instructional videos I have used in some of my courses are here.
