I include many word walls and anchor charts around the classroom so that students can use them to reference previously learned knowledge quickly. Students are expected to retain a lot of information both for the current unit and previous units, so word walls and anchor charts help them access that information. Word walls also help students be more mathematically precise in their answers.
My word wall is color-coded by math domain and includes many words that we will use throughout the year. I refer back to it frequently during class.

And ones that I have created that are specific to our units:
On every set of guided notes, students also have an anchor chart and/or vocabulary reference printed on the top. This lets them refer back to relevant material extremely easily without needing to scan the room or strain their eyes.
